Yeah I could a google search but I always like to interact with savvy IT experts on this forum. They seem to be so cool. Can online links to another website contain meta-data? This is probably a very dumb question...
One more. What is concerning meta-data more dangerous screenshots or for example pictures you have made from your smartphone?
I am very uneducated about IT topics. Maybe you can tell me the most important stuff which is necessary to know.

Yes, they can contain trackers that help big companies build a profile on you. (maybe not exactly what you were asking though)

Screenshots do not hold the same amount of sensitive information, if any at all. For pictures taken with a camera, most websites will strip the sensitive stuff when you upload a picture to it AFAIK.

You can use an exif viewer to compare, or http://exif.regex.info/exif.cgi
