Help What do I do when college runs out of housing.

I am enrolling in a college for the first time this year. I could not pay for housing and i was ver confused why, so i emailed an advisor last week. She actually never responded to me, but some other advisor got back to me just now, it took a week to send 1 email. the reason i could not pay for housing is because there is no housing left. I'm not sure what to do now, it's barely July and they already ran out of housing. this never happened with anyone I know. I was really late to applying to college because I had no idea if it was really something i could afford, but I decided in may that what i wanted in life was only attainable through college studies, so i did it. but I'm not sure if i have a chance now.
I have four options. I can't drive and I don't have a job or any friends, if that's important.
1. be homeless
2. find an apartment that I can't pay for
3. suck it up and take a 50 mile, $10, 2 hour long train ride twice every day
3. go home, give up, maybe ctb

What the fuck do I do from here, I tried at least and don't want to abandon it.

unfortunately, housing really is the worst part of figuring out college, and there might not be many easy avenues into success here.

is there off campus student housing? you may be able to get in with either a sorority (sucks but ah well its housing), or if you know anyone, you might be able to get a 3 bedroom apt for pretty cheap. i also recommend looking online at roommate apps, there may be some people desperately scrambling for another roommate for the start of the school year.

if you really cant find any housing, is there any way you can drop your current schedule and take another gap semester? college will always be there for you when you are ready and easily able to commute, because im going to be honest, that 2 hour commute sounds really difficult and it might make it hard for you to find motivation to go to classes (which i personally recommened you do not skip on)

maybe the move is just to sit back, take another semester off, and prepare for the next.

Don't be homeless, being homeless is traumatizing. Call your housing at your college and ask if there are any options they suggest like if there's some kind of off campus housing available. Are you under 21? where's this college located? there are some youth housing centers you could check out

go to roomies.com, I was able to find a room with some cool people through this site. I know you are unemployed. But there might be something in your price range
