@Baskol1 inspired me to ask some random, fun questions.

What are some of your favorite life memories? Since being suicidal, I have personally reflected on my life a lot. How about you?

is it wierd to not have any? im being absolutely honest, i can't think of having any good memories in life to date. and that sounds so pathetic.

@Hasssssuùuu Maybe some ideas will get your mind going :)

I know for me, some of my favorite memories were with family from childhood.

From ages 2 to about 15, my grandmother, mom, aunt and uncle, and 2 female cousins my age would go to Catalina Island (Avalon side) near Long Beach, California, and rent a beach house each Summer.

We would swim in the ocean (pretend we were mermaids when we were young and discover what we called 'Coral World' which was a bunch of coral, do water sports like jet skiing, take turns driving a motorboat and ride over waves of big boats so we'd fly in the air, eat at an Italian restaurant that allowed us to eat peanuts and throw the shells on the floor, play miniature golf, go to the arcade, and at night we'd get ice cream cones. We'd also hike to the Wrigley's Memorial (of Wrigley's gum).

When we became preteens, we started having crushes on boys that also visited the island yearly, so there was a lot of "young love drama", sneaking out at night, and gossip. We had so much fun!

First and only anime convention. Missed a bunch of panels and artists i wanted to see but in the end, it didn't even matter, best four days ever. They shine.

One time a woman I liked and respected a lot said, "Deathwish is so lovable." what a phenomenal compliment. and her face when she said it was so adorable and sincere looking. the heart shakes to recall.

this is a cute topic, thanks for making it. hope lots more people reply.

I made music with an old ex-best friend ... booze and marijuana and an old reel to reel .
Did an OE on the slip stream of a romantic partner ...
Then , alone , in an empty room...(edit to add - taping singing made up songs with borrowed guitar) ,back in the land of my birth , ( such a relief to not be an alien ) making songs in a shared house in between shifts at a factory job.
That house , an old farm house by a bronze age earth works woodland was the sweetest time .
A partner , income , cheep rent , hash , bottles of rough red ... easy socialising ... a big city a few minutes away with that cosmopolitan entertainment scene .

Oh, I've never been to an anime convention but they look fun with all the costumes and booths! That's cool that a woman you admired gave such a sweet compliment!

And thanks! I hope more reply too!

Saturday night -- Southern Paws Furcon 2019 -- around 9pm the dance started. I had a blast. I was shy almost the whole con, but when that music played it didn't matter. I was in the zone - doing one of the few things that brings me happiness.

Also, reuniting with a friend I haven't seen in 5 years to discover their friendship is what I've urned for in a friendship for so so long.
It's a shame this occured at the end of my journey - but of anyone in this world I feel bad about leaving behind, it's her.

The Thanksgiving of 2004 was one of the few good childhood memories I have.
The only other good memories I can think of involve my ex.

Honestly, all I can think of is my best orgasm. Anything nice and heart-warming, I'm ashamed to have felt about it.

I think sitting on the floor and looking up answers to radio quizes while my grandmum called in might be it. She's gone now but I'll probably never forget Friday evenings with just me and her.

*sigh* where to begin?

Spending time with one of the sweetest souls I've known. Grandpa, mother's side. (Morning d 70s)

Dad owned a bar when I was a kid. He'd switch out bar games and bring some home. At different times, my brother and I had...pinball machine, arcade games, shuffleboard, ping pong table, darts, pool table, etc. (early 80s)

Weeks of summer (multiple years) spent houseboating w/ family (mid 80s) on Lake Cumberland, Kentucky. Lots of fishing, water sports, exploring.

Long drawn out road trips in junior high & high school. Good Friends, spacious cars, long, straight and smooth roads, weed, beer and "The Wall." (Late 80s)

Univ. at E. Michigan & just....ridiculous amounts of drugging and boozing. (Early 90s)

Mardi Gras (New Orleans), San Fermin (Pamplona), tripped acid on an overnight flight, hitched rides across the US, Oregon coast, peaked Mt St Helens solo, Olympic Natl. Pk., Mt. Rainier, Alaska (Aleutian) fishing boat, Yellowstone, Crater Lake, the Badlands, Isle Royale, Mt. Katahdin, wilderness canoeing (Maine), White Mts (New Hampshire), so many other places, lots of hiking, camping, fishing, backcountrying, so many random people along the way (most gooood).

1st job in Korea. (95')
1st job in Thailand. (97')
1st job in Saudi. (99')

More hiking, hitching rides and camping: Korean mountain peaks, Thai jungles, Saudi deserts.

3 marriages. Several stints of polygamy.

An unnatural amount of sex, drugs, rock n roll, booze & pushing limits.

Vaca Travels: Sri Lanka, Japan, Cambodia, Malaysia, Turkey, Greece, U.A.E., Mexico, Kenya, Ecuador, Keys, Bahamas, NYC, Boston, Vegas, Seattle, San Fran, Alaska and quite a few more.

I had a pretty good run, I guess.

Ah, remember now. It is A. running after me trying to get us to stay. That miserable worm begging me.

I was so sweet, gave them a hug and a smile and said no hard feelings. Sure we'll make friends later on. Treated them like the two year old they intellectually are. Hey fucker, how does it feel like getting a puppet do all your work for you and still fail? Ahahah. Sorry I'm cleverer, aw.

when I was 14/15 and had my first girlfriend, she was so cute.
our mains problems were listening to The Cure and the Sisters, dye our hairs black and find some money to buy a pair of Dr Martens
