Discussion What are you best and worse value computer games?

In terms of the money you spent versus how long you played them for...

I think probably my best value games have been through tbe XBox Game Pass subscription. When you consider that can be as little as £1 for the first month- I've played some games for days!

Probably one I spent a lot of time in was 'Subnautica'. Although, I ended up buying that in the end, too. A few city builder games I've sunk days into. The 'Rollercoaster Tycoon' games. Recently, I've really enjoyed 'Atomfall'.

Maybe for the worst value, I remember 'Taz Mania' on the Game Gear being really disappointing. I couldn't get into a few games- 'Child of Light' for one. Other games looked amazing but, I was simply too crap at them to get far enough to make them good value. 'Dark Souls' was one. I'm fairly useless at combat games. One I so wanted to be good at was 'Cuphead' because I love the graphics. Oh, and one or two mobile games I have been frustrated and stupid enough to buy tokens to progress to higher levels. I dread to think what I wasted on them.

I thought u said valve games lol. I bought Black Ops Cold War for 60 bucks just to realize that it needed Online sub (PS4) to play with humans. I was 14-15 at the time? Idk but it was such a waste of money because I ended up not having anymore money to get a sub so I just uninstalled it. I felt so sad.

Now that I own a PC I just pirate whatever game I want to get, but I rarely do that. I just play CS2. Thats actually the only game I got on my system rn wow Im so boring I just realized that. But I still spent a lot of money with in game gambling BS. The total for my steam account is $300. I couldve bought so many clothes with that heartbroken.

i spent a lot on the final fantasy xiv membership, mostly to get better at chatting with people; when i was younger, and overwatch was still good, i paid for ps4+. but for the biggest one-time purchase, i think it was project diva future tone. i had fun, so it was worth it. the worst purchase goes to hades.

Worth all the money and time

The worst purchases were $1 games on sale that I've heard good things about but wasn't actually interested in playing them

Worth it for me: Cyberpunk 2077. I know so many people were angry at all the bugs and issues but I never experienced them and I loved everything about the game. I ate up every moment of playing and can not wait to go back to it when I have time.

Not worth it: I was on a Lego game kick for a while. I had the OG Lego Batman game which was so good do I bought a bin h more. I started playing others and found them all to be really repetitive and the quality of level design and gameplay got worse with newer ones. I'll probably never play most if the ones I have.

I don't have a best game but I can tell you I think the worst game would have to be fallout 76
