There used to be a well know chemical supplier called WestLab in Canada that sold sodium nitrite to individuals not long ago (the supplier has now banned it so I'm not really revealing a source). I kept overthinking things like storage, etc. and delayed the delivery and lost my chance of acquiring it. For those who are in Canada, did you ever come across this website and if so were you able to acquire it without problem? I just want to know (for the sake of my sanity) whether it was possible to get SN this easily not long ago.
