I don't believe anyone who has ordered from DMC has had welfare checks, worldwide.
Only welfare checks were customers of Canadian KL

A welfare check isn't a big deal imo. There's no warrant, no right to search.
They show up at the door & ask if everything is ok.
If you don't appear psychotic, suicidal or homicidal, just tell them you're ok & they will leave.

Exactly this. The biggest problem would be others in the household finding out. I suppose it depends on if it's legal in your country too.

Is it the police that show up?

When they spoke with me in the US it was the feds, probably because of jurisdiction with the investigations being overseas. They really don't care Stateside. It's just another mundane task for the day for them.

Yeh IC I got a welfare check and I live with parents that's was quite the situation back in 2023

If you read the thread I pinned in my first comment, you will see that welfare checks were carried out on people who purchased via Canadian source.
I understand you are worried but as above, it's a welfare check - are you ok? Yes? Cool. Bye.
They don't come into your house, they don't search, they don't probe. They literally check you are ok and confirm you are ok then leave.
