Is hating narcosis an indicator that I'm not ready to go? I once read about this guy on the forum who said he loved the feeling of going under and now I'm concerned that my hatred of the same feeling is proof that I'm far away from catching the bus. Sorry for the stupid question.

I wouldn't consider that an indicator of wanting or not wanting death to be honest. There's always the option of cremation as well.

Perhaps it's more likely that you're not comfortable with the method.

Me, I just can't deal with suffocating in an exit bag (I tested), nor with the effects of partial hanging (I tested), and because there are other methods available to me, I can let those two go and move forward.

I chose another method, the best for me of all available options, but have a minor issue with tachycardia, and a major issue with suffocating, so shortness of breath scares me. I'm having to work with the fears by imagining the entire process of the method and how each potential symptom will feel, and how I will manage it. As a result, I feel less afraid of the act of dying, and closer to being ready.

Narcosis, not necrosis.

There are no stupid questions. My opinion. If you are asking people if something means you are ready or not and are questioning, then you aren't ready. ;)

With full suspension, there is not enough time to back out. You have less control.
