All they had to do was convince everyone there's a deadly virus to shut down the world lol! That's sad that this is all it took to bring us to our knees. I find it embarrassing that most people bought it and now we are all very vulnerable to impoverishment and death especially if they keep this up for some more weeks or months. Most people live paycheck to paycheck. I mean I was already vulnerable to these things without the added shutdown of the economy, but now lol! I think most people will die from things like suicide, domestic violence, starvation, lack of medical care, untreated mental health issues, but it won't be from corona virus. The other day I heard the true number of deaths from covid. It's only been like 30,000 in the last 4 months, but yearly more people die of the seasonal flu by a large amount, yet we don't shut the world down over it. I know it's pointless to talk about this because we are fucked and this is not really about the virus at all. They basically used this virus scare to get the full enslavement, socialism/communism going. We were already communist since we have central banking. A few people controlling the many through the money system. That's a huge sign of communism and it's in place in many countries. But still it's harder to see that u are a slave until they pull something like this lockdown and they really restrict your freedom to live over a flu bug lol! Pointless post just annoyed.

The CDC said last years flu will have killed more then the Coronavirus. This was definitely an engineered crisis. Probably to reset the economy like you'd said in another thread.

It's because this is a new virus strain that nobody is immune too. Seasonal flu has been around for a long time so many people are now immune to it. Coronavirus is different from the seasonal flu and the mortality rate is 3x higher. While the majority of people that have died have been elderly there have been healthy young people that have died who had no underlying conditions. This is the scariest part to me. Also you can be young and get it and show no symptoms then spread it to your older relatives. That's what happened in Italy.

I think the stats so far have borne out that if you're under 70, you're better off getting the rona than the flu because it's less deadly. More healthy people die of the flu than this. It'll also help build some herd immunity. It's only beyond 70 where the mortality changes dramatically and the rona starts doing serious damage and the death rate gets exponentially higher than the flu. But it also spreads fast and the ability to isolate everyone over 70 or with serious underlying health conditions has stumped the world. It's easiest just to isolate everyone as much as possible.

I dunno what the right solution is. If you do nothing, basically everyone gets it, the hospitals get overwhelmed so eventually most serious cases just have to die because they can't treat everyone. And without functioning hospitals that death rate gets much higher - up to 20x the flu when you get over 85, not to mention all the usual people that need hospitals for other things that no longer have room. That idea which effectively results in just letting huge swathes of old people die early doesn't seem reasonable.

Keeping a metre or so distance from people, especially symptomatic or potentially vulnerable people, seems to be the best solution. If everyone just followed that we'd be fine. But unless that guideline is enforceable, human nature is such that plenty just ignore it and everything blows up like we've seen almost everywhere, so governments have to turn to the nuclear options we're seeing now in order to get people to adhere to simple guidelines. The issue there is the damage those measures cause in other areas like you mentioned is almost certain to be worse than anything the rona would do, especially if they are maintained for many months, which looks likely. And the general expectation seems to be whenever they are released, the rona will just blow up again anyway and the whole thing would have been pointless.

It's just a shit storm. From a personal viewpoint, the answer is just to keep your distance from people for a while. Give the mosh pits/crowds a year off. But from a society viewpoint, no one seems to know what to do. Ultimately it's going to come down to being able to isolate the elderly and vulnerable effectively until a herd immunity or vaccine allows them to contract it without dying at alarming rates, and doing it in a way that has minimal impact on society. But that's easier said than done.

Strange times we are living in..Maybe this has all been blown out of proportion as a harbinger/and practice of things to come..Maybe its all politics, just survival for those "in charge",worried about their "legacy"..

More people died of heart failure yesterday,in the US than died of Corona.Even though it was a thousand from corona..I do worry more about the financial repurcussions, but thats because I dont know whether I want to live or die just yet.Maybe I want a second(or 8TH)chance.Plus I dont worry too much about passing it on to others..Im alone, will die alone.Wont say shit, wont seek help.

Im just selfish,if I catch it,I wont say shit...Just isolate myself and take my punishment and be found, when the house becomes a biohazard from my fragrant aroma.

Im willing to bet there will be more suicides because of the "quarantine/lockdowns" though. Not encouraging, just stating facts. They are already begininng to be reported.

I personally think it's still in a grey area for me to be convinced that government is behind this virus. I've heard about there only being a fraction of the deaths reported...but who is able to fact check that instead of picking the side of somebody who says they know the real number.

Right now I'm going off WHO's numbers because I haven't seen enough to not believe them. I do believe there is a level of shadow government and that we are being unknowingly controlled by it...but I personally do not think what is happening in the world was intentional.

Economy's are at risk of collapsing beyond repair, governments are having to bailout the citizens with trillions of dollars (and we all know how much the government loves giving people money), societies are barely functioning due to the lack of a work force, and people are becoming more paranoid by the second. Even if it was cured right now, there is a ton of damage control that needs to be done. Now imagine if it gets worse. This doesn't feel like a intended outcome. What's the point of controlling the masses if the masses are in shambles. So whoever is behind this can plant a flag in the ashes of the world?

There are more efficient ways of manipulating the masses then sending them into a panic and craze..maybe I'm wrong and somebody's plan is working perfectly right now...but I dont think so at this point.

My opinion about this could change very quickly, but like I said, i feel its in a grey area still. People have every right to be suspicious, and I always encourage questioning those in charge...but I'm not ready to pull out my tin foil hat on this one yet. We were RIPE for the pickings for any virus to come wipe us out. It's not like this is the first time something on this magnitude has happened naturally.

I guess 5G has something to do with this virus situation.
