Obviously my death is going to be traumatizing for my friends and family, however, is there a way that I can do it so that maybe my body can remain in tact? Or at least whoever finds me won't discover a mangled corpse? I want my death to hurt my family as little as possible.

Possibly try to frame it as an accident or in any way not a suicide (car accident or similar can work). Will still be traumatizing but not as traumatizing.

You can also get hated by your friends and family like I have been.

If you don't live with your family, send a letter to the police about your suicide shortly before you ctb. Preferably with express shipping so they'll find your body faster.

Inert gas does not change the appearance of the body.

Really wish this method was easier to plan and carry out, it seems more peaceful than SN. :/

This is the problem I'm facing. Most of my friends I've spoken to know I would prefer to be dead, but the trauma won't stop there. It's not the body I'm scared of it's the mass impact

Don't die at home.
Leave a gentle note explaining lifes troubles, how you tried to make it work and ultimately why you had to go.

Shallow water Blackout can easily be interpreted as an accident, especially if done in a lake, or something like that. And it is totally free :)

My best bet is to just not die in the same house or something, and just let the police find your dead corpse instead
