Discussion Was originally going to ctb with dogs, but friend is taking them in

My hs friend is taking dogs for me because she thinks I'm going to get medical treatment. Damn though I'm gonna miss them. Is it fucked up to give them dogs and ctb?

I worry about going to shelter and she has 2 dogs 3 cats, nice home, I'm in tiny hotel room, but bad to ctb right away? I wanted to see them see me die so they could get over it, what do u all think?

I can't tell anyone I'm suicidal

I know that we're expected to express empathy and all to threads like that, but it makes me angry that people use a pro-choice site to ask other people to make choice for them. It sounds manipulative and just wrong.
Also, this site is for adult people of sound mind, who can make this decision themselves. If you think you may not be able to make decisions, it's likely not a right place for you.

The wording of this title initially made me think you were going to attempt some sort of suicide method involving dogs, and I was quite intrigued, to be honest. It's not exactly messed up, since it could be considered a kind of parting gift, like something to remember you by. It's your life, and you can do whatever feels right with it. I don't think it's a good idea to ctb in front of them; that would probably traumatize them. If you really want to ease the pain, rent a hotel room or someplace where your friend doesn't have immediate access to you. That way she won't have to see your lifeless corpse, at least.

Makes me almost want to stick around longer to see them again, almost feel it backfire emotionally. I think my hs friends will be pissed I ctb, but yeah sort of like a parting gift.

Yeah the alternative is they go to some shelter and that would be awful because they are a little older and wouldn't get adopted out. I freak out in the mornings though when I know my dreams are gone.
