Pokemon Master provided information about two organizations I didn't know existed: go-betweens for body and/or organ donors and recipients, which take care of transportation etc. at no cost. These two are in the US, but I hope people can post similar sites for other countries.

You usually can't be an organ donor unless you die in hospital. Most organ donors are brain dead but on life support to keep the tissues and organs alive until they can harvest them. Just saying.

If you check the sites, there's also the option of donating your whole body, and it looks like the restrictions aren't as rigourous as you suggest. Even if it's not for everybody, it can help those who qualify and who fret about post mortem costs to their families.

I was researching donation to medical schools and things like that. Doubt they'd accept my body after N but I admire people who do donate (organs) etc

morbid thought: always wished there was a way to do living donation of major organs - I'd do it in a flash

Good article

They will return your body to your family after 1-2 years if that's your wish (to be buried later)

There's.m also places where you can donate your body to forensics

Whole-body donation seems to be less picky than organ donation, so SN use might not be a barrier. At any rate some people will find it worth looking into.

I really hope people from other countries will add information about who to contact.

I was thinking of donating myself to some wild animals, but then again, humans are already quite poisonous because of what they eat. Add to that some inorganic salts, and it becomes even worse.
I don't want to cause anyone any kind of pain, harm, or loss, but finding a place nobody, including animals, could not get to, has to be either some blind luck, or very well thought out and planned.
Me being an impulsive dimwit does not help. I even locked my eternity vacation ticket package in a safe, so that I would not just go and use it, out of spite.

I have just researched the topic and whether it would be possible here in Germany. It turns out that it is not so easy to donate one's body. It turns out that the Medical Institutes are flooded with inquiries. They do not accept anyone under the age of 50, and you have to pay a high fee so that they accept the body. And this fee is much higher than a normal funeral.

Wow, I would have expected the opposite. Who's really that keen on donating their body to science and education?
