Rn I'm trying partial, I start feeling weak but don't pass out. Any advice? Already had some drinks to reduce a bit of SI, I think the most uncomfortable thing is the gag reflex/throat pressure. I keep trying and I'm sure I'm blocking the caoritds and not jugular, already have tried some positions but it's like I stand up automatically before I pass out

Not sure you should gag or feel pressure with partial, maybe you're compressing your jugular instead? Have you tried different placements with the noose around your neck? generally under your adam's apple is good.

I think the gag is coming from the anxiety. The pressure is not in my head tho, it's the literal feeling of the rope on my neck. I feel like I've built anxiety around hanging somehow, mostly physical I think. I have tried some different positions and yeah it works for me best under the adam's apple. I'll continue trying but the issue is just doing it long enough to pass out

Oh yeah, I have no advice for that honestly. Me personally I always tell myself i'll brute force it.

It shouldn't take long for you to pass out though, generally 5-10 seconds. You could try adding padding (at the sides of your neck) for the rope discomfort also it'll help constrict the carotids.
