Hello to everyone, I have been watching videos of people committing suicide via jumping under moving trucks and it seems quick and reliable. Placing one's head under the truck tyres to get it crushed seems quick and lethal, as I said, but I'm not sure about the pain. I presume that one will feel some form of pain but for a very short amount of time and if done right, there is no way of surviving to regret anything. I currently work at a government hospital and i see things that remind me that i had better kill myself before i end up like the patients i see everyday. What are your thoughts on the method?

Sounds fast and effective, as long as you're okay with it mangling your body. If one managed to stick their head directly under the tire than that would be highly effective, but more realistically they'd have to jump in front of the moving truck, which will still likely lead to a quick death. The amount of pain depends on luck and how fast the truck is going.

Personally I wouldn't do it, but I avoid violent methods in general.

It sounds like a terrible idea... Trucks are slower and lighter than trains, so they have less kinetic energy, which is needed to lead you to an instant death. Additionally they are not moving on lines unlike trains so drivers will try to avoid the collision. This can end up in your survival and someone else getting hit.

This is a completely unethical method, IMO.

You're going to traumatize the driver of the truck, at minimum, nevermind anyone else who views this. It's also possible that the driver swerves to avoid you and injures or kills themselves or innocent bystanders.

Yes, 100%.
To OP and others considering his method: This is just my opinion: This method is incredibly selfish. Think of the driver. They will feel you crunch under the truck. This will indeed very likely traumatise them for life, affecting them, their families and everyone else close to them. They will very likely suffer long term mental health issues, possibly becoming suicidal themselves as a result of this experience. They will possibly never work again. Lives ruined.
As mentioned, if they see you at all (quite likely) they will try to avoid you, possibly leaving you severely injured but alive, and injuring or killing themselves or other innocent people.
Factor all this is if you must choose this method. Think of the driver and their families. None of us has an automatic right to ruin innocent people's lives by our own CTB.
Same for trains imo.
(Also, I don't watch them so I don't know for sure, but I would guess that there are many fake/AI-generated videos of this method out there).

last year I parked up near a highway at night and had a think about doing it. I was drunk and out driving trying to "run" from my depression as I often do. I used to be a truck driver and it gave me a sense of entitlement or something to try it. I chickened obviously. The truth is it will probably work but it has no real advantage over a train and a massive problem- a driver attempting to swerve may end up crashing and it will be entirely your fault.

You also have a much greater chance of disrupting the truck via getting jammed up into its wheel wells than you do a train.
