It is not my case, but my father is a trucker, it is a very hard job, and in Spain it is poorly paid (I suppose that in other countries it will be very different)

an uncle was a truck driver in the us. he died of cancer. I hear it's not uncommon for truck drivers to get pretty ill from not eating healthy and not getting much in terms of rest.
