Help Travelling somewhere to end your life without your parents/police finding out?

I have some money saved up, most of it will be going to pay toward my funeral but I'm planning on taking a short trip somewhere away from here before I die.

My only issue is if people wonder where I am, how do I make sure they don't find out? I can't just use my usual credit or debit cards because it's so easy to find out where I went and when. Unless I make up a reason why I'd be off work or not at my apartment. It's easy enough where I live because we share a house but all keep to ourselves, nobody is gonna wonder why they haven't seen or heard from me (until it's too late which is fine).

How can I get the travel tickets and things without it leaving a trail? I want to be left alone and to die in peace. I'm excited to be somewhere in nature and somewhere nobody will disturb me. I just don't want things to end badly. What can I do?

Getting a fake ID is the only way because they will ask you for that in a hotel, bus station, etc.

I've never been able to use the dark web even when I was an addict and looking for pills I could literally not work it out, but I'm desperate so I'll try anything. I won't be staying at a hotel but I'm guessing they'll want ID where I stay. Unless I go somewhere (paying in cash) then once I'm there find someone who will accept cash to stay at a cabin or camping place for a couple of days. Failing that I can find my own place to camp. If I get moved, so be it. I only need a day or two.

Best advice is act as casual as possible, have you thought about where you going to yet, like a few miles away, ten miles away as these things can make it easier for people to trace especially if there's not many locations.

Somewhere in the country, I am in a city. It's quite far away but not far enough to not be found if I have used my card details. I could be located. And I wanted a few days to see the beauty of this world before I leave it, without worrying someone might find me before I get to finish it

So I'm assuming your goal is to have some alone time and not to try and never, ever have your remains found, right? I'm also assuming you're an adult?
If you take the suicide aspect out of the equation, hypothetically speaking, is there any reason people would be suspicious and track you down if you just decided to take a small vacation?

Unless you've been ordered to stay put by some authority or you just suspiciously vanish and it looks like you're in danger, I can't see why anyone would freak out and start a manhunt. I guess I'm just wondering why you think all the stealth is necessary.

Are you sure you're not imagining it'll happen just because you know your real intentions? Like, you feel conspicuous but aren't really? It's not abnormal to go on a trip. People aren't mind readers, so unless there's more to the story, I think you'd be ok.

If you owe anyone an explanation, it's probably enough to just say you want a vacation and might be out of touch. All you really need to do is set it up so there's no worry if your phone isn't answered or something. Don't say you'll be back on Tuesday and then never show up again. That's what will raise the red flags.

If you die, you'll get ID'd sooner or later, all you can do is stall that process for a bit.

Unfortunately, I think today it is very difficult to simply vanish. I had a book a long, long time ago about vanishing and starting a new life. But this was before the internet, cameras on nearly every corner, advanced forensic methods, etc. It was very expensive to create a new identity. You could get a loadable credit card, but when you check into a hotel you'll likely be recorded on camera, and the internet makes it easy to distribute your photo when family and friends realize you've disappeared...they may assume foul play and be desperate to find you. Maybe you could stage an argument — or a series of arguments — and announce one day you're leaving, severing ties, and don't try to find me. Goodbye. Would that work in your situation?

I recently thought about vanishing again as I prepare to CTB. I've been watching YouTube videos about people living in vans or small RVs. I dream about dropping out of my current life and just traveling all over the United States.

EDIT: Ha! I just remembered the idea I had. I was going to tell my family I witnessed a gang-related murder and was put into the witness protection program and that I won't be able to see my family anymore. This was mainly for my parent's benefit. They are both dead now so I don't have the issue of potentially hurting them by vanishing.

You are caught on CCTV over 300 times a day unless the government has locked you in your home that is .
it won't be long before they start saying the virus was spread by cash transactions and ban it all together .

Can't you buy prepaid credit cards from your local supermarket? That's what I would do if I were you.. that and cash upfront.

A/ announce you're planning a holiday/trip and for what duration. Where doesn't matter. If everyone expects you to be gone no one will look for you for a while (unless you have history of going off somewhere to pop your cloggs).
B/ pay cash for everything and up front, including the hotel. They'll take a print of the credit card but no transaction will be recorded.
C/ do whatever you want. By the time people wonder what you're up to you'll either be gone or have changed your mind. Even if your relatives go to the police unless they can convince them there's serious grounds for concern there's nothing they can do.
