I find it interesting that the common misconception is that taking a concoction of pills, any pills, leads to death.
If that were true, it's likely that 80% of forum users might not be here.
I blame vague coverage in the media. "He had taken a concoction of pills." The reality is that only very specific and oftentimes near impossible to obtain drugs serve to this end.
If I misinterpreted the original post, and the pills were taken for antidepressant purposes only, drugs like this have a slow drip effect with regards to effectiveness. The results are accumulative over time, not obtained by maximising the dose in one go.
