• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Up and down up and down. My life is the same cycle of a little bit of good followed by a whole lot of shit. I'm tired of it.

I have already tried taking my life once before and because of that failure I decided a bullet in the head is the way to go.

I have people who love me dearly and care about me that dont want to see me die. I love them so much.... I feel like this will ruin some of their lives.
WHY DO I HAVE TO CARE?! Well.. I won't have to if I'm dead. Then they can "figure it out" just as they told me to do!

Does anyone have any ideas on what I should tell the store owner so I don't look like a maniac or a suicidal person?
I was just going to say something along the lines of: "My husbands been begging me for a gun and I thought I'd surprise him on his birthday which will be November 12th."
Please...I need someone

I bought mine online and just went to the FFL dealer to do a transfer (along with filling out the 4473 form - firearms transaction record). As for the reason, I would just say that you are going into self-defense, or target shooting, and also try not to go into a lot of small talk, just get to the point and not mess around (the more you speak the more likely you are to talk yourself out of a firearm - e.g. raising suspicions or accidentally saying something that sets a 'red flag' off).

I would advise against your reasons as that could be construed as a straw purchase (meaning buying a gun for someone else, usually someone who isn't allowed to have one) and it would certainly raise a red flag. So instead, just use the common reasons of wanting to buy one for recreation and/or defense. Finally, if you can get a shotgun, then it is preferred because it is more lethal than a rifle itself, plus it is generally cheaper to get (I got a pump action shotgun for just a bit under $200 USD, as per the firearms megathread.)

Thank you so much for the advise. <3

Please reconsider and PM me if you needto talk. You dont sound convinced of this course of action and with no experience painful failure is highly possible.
