I will tell 1001 lies in a few hrs. I have to work night shift and I hate the holidays because it's a constant reminder I'm alone. I'm adopted so I don't have family, we'll I have family but I've decided to completely away from them. (Trust me for various reasons, I'm definitely validated)

When I walk into work I have to listen to others talk for lengths about all they fun they had today and all they great food they ate. I don't mind that, it's usual behavior.

Then they question will be, "So, how was your thanksgiving?" And the lies will begin...
I will probably put on makeup to make my lies look official and they will believe me...

Honestly, I've abused my sleeping pills and been in bed all day. I will get up just in time for work. I haven't eaten and I feel sick and nauseous and overwhelmed by what I have to face at work in a few. Let the lies begin..

Extreme Pain is much worse than people know

i told some normies straight up . That to me holidays mean nothing. just another day. however i didn't tell them the whole story that nothing matters. to me nothing matters except me avoiding unbearable pain, extreme suffering and getting to my suicide asap

nothing matters. what will matter in 200 years? in 10,000 years? in a trillion years? nothing

imo people think holidays are special because they were taught that when they were children. same thing for most everything else imo. imo the reality is nothing matters

The normals look forward to all these holidays and don't even know the true definition of that holiday. It's all pointless to me.
BTW, I love your slogan! I know it says extreme pain, but I've always said mental pain is worse than physical pain. Physical pain people can empathize and understand and there's medication to help or alleviate the pain. When you have mental pain, the medication doesn't work. You will always have memories, trauma, etc.

The pain endured for years can't be reversed by a simple holiday.

I completely sympathise. I had a lot of crap going on in childhood. Some of my worst memories are around Christmas. We don't really celebrate thanksgiving in the UK but, I imagine it's a similar feeling I have around Christmas. Because it's such a family time and people just assume that 1) You love Christmas as much as they do and 2) You will be spending it with your family. By choice, I prefer to spend Christmas alone. I much prefer it but I hate having to explain it.

Kind of similar to birthdays or new year. Why on earth would I celebrate having been born? Or, that I have another year to get through? But, you can't reveal all that without seeming so weird.

I hope you survive it as best you can.

I'm from Canada. We already had Thanksgiving a month ago because our country is superior to yours. I drank three bottles of maple syrup that day and made my entire family uncomfortable via telling incredibly racist jokes.

It's comforting to know someone else understands and you aren't crazy. I hate birthdays too and all the happy birthdays, I'm sick of it! I'm going to start getting ready for work, I'll add some makeup to really drive my lies and make it seem true. It's unfair we have to try to "fit in" their world so we don't seem crazy. Thank you šŸ„°

I don't care what country you believe is superior, we are all here from all over the world! It doesn't matter where we are from, we all are hurting. From your response, it's obvious you are too. If telling racist jokes is considered fun to you then I actually feel sorry for you.

I don't really celebrate thanksgiving since my parents are against it and, even if I did, it doesn't matter. Nothing in life matters to me aside from dying as early as possible
