Colors have drained from the world, leaving only shades of grey.
Every day feels more heavy than lead
It's hard to find meaning in anything now.
Laughter seems far away, and joy always slips through my fingers.
What used to feel like an adventure has become a weight—
Each step takes more out of me than I can give.
I'm wandering in a maze without an exit,
Looking for a spark, but the fire's long gone.
Maybe it never was here at all.
Peter said it: to die will be an awfully big adventure—
Not in the way of heroes or dreamers,
But like slipping into a sleep without nightmares,
Into a place where the light only heals,
Where the shadows don't follow.
I stand now, ready for this big adventure,
I'm standing at the edge, looking out,
The weight of this life slipping from my shoulders.
I've waited long enough, and the pull is strong—
Not a fear, but a promise of peace.
Soon, I'll take that final step,
Into whatever comes next, into the unknown.
Maybe I'll find what I've been missing,
Maybe the next stage is where I finally belong.
Soon... Soon...
