Throwing my n away

Hey,

I opened my N bottles 29 days ago and poured it in a glass, I had the glass on my lips and couldn't drink it, I was scared. So I put it back in the bottles with a funnel and then left it for 29 days in the fridge.

Should I throw the bottles away now? I read somewhere the shelf life after opening is 4 weeks, which is 28 days.

I have two more unopened bottles so I don't need the 2 opened bottles necessarily.

Not cloudy, no difference from unopened bottles.

I know if it were me and I had two other unopened bottles I wouldn't risk it. I know that you will just wake up after a long slumber but it could affect your tolerance levels and that could mess up the second attempt.

I have heard of barbiturates lasting decades after their expiry. If I were you I'd keep it, but if I was going to ctb I would drink enough N from unopened bottles then drink the opened N on top of it.

I would only throw them away if you are concerned about something specific, eg the quantity of N you have, mixing up the bottles somehow despite all precautions, someone coming across them after you ctb, etc. And some of those problems do not require throwing it away immediately.

While liquid N is a lot less likely to last for years and years after its expiry date, it should retain some potency and be mostly safe. The extra sample could just come in handy again if you don't want to degrade your intact supply. For example, if you run tests again.

I agree with the comments on tolerance.

Don't throw it away. Test it. Calculate how much 100 mg of it is and try it out as a sleeping potion. You may need 200 mg. That's milligrams not grams!

I agree that you should keep it as a back up and just get a testing kit. Or you could always sell it? Just seems like such a waste to bin it. In the vets where it's used, they have these huge bottles that are kept open for a really long time. Like in their car for field euthanasia's. There's literature about these open bottles, not because of potency, but because of safety as workers could be siphoning off and more potential for humans to access. In all my reading I haven't read anything about the shelf life as it would no longer be potent... But whatever works for you.

One girl on the old hideout forum just used hers as a sleeping pill the way it was originally used. She reordered it a number of times for that purpose. It's the best sleeping pill. She was using the Chinese powdered form, though.

I drank one small sip from it and spit it out, and it doesn't taste as bad as people make it out to be. It doesn't taste pleasant obviously.

The powder just tasted like chewed up aspirin to me. No big deal.

The PPEH suggests it can last for years and the signs to look for when it's time to go are a change in colour, texture or floaty bits in there. I'd just get a testing kit for later.

They were testing it for years, plus people were successfully using it for years, but at the end, the six months or so before "Johnson" in China vanished, it had become very questionable. Is that when you got yours?

I got mine from another supplier on pphb. I tried it a couple of times but didn't notice anything, the problem with that stuff was you don't really know what you are getting. With the liquid n you know it's going to get the job done, the stuff I had mightve been the real thing but perhaps just a weaker version. I had read Johnson was reliable as a supplier, didn't know that Johnson was screwing around in the end though. N should be available to anyone who wants it, after all, who's life is it anyways??

There were a couple other ones on the forum that was part of pphb, I think there was around four suppliers from China, the stuff I had seemed the real deal but it was weak. If I took the whole bottle I mightve been dead possibly but a quarter teaspoon shouldve knocked me out for half a day but just felt drowsy. The whole N industry is a rip off, the stuff is cheap where it's from, people are gouging desperate people, kind of bullshit.
