I don't know how to write this but I need help with some things I've been thinking about lately. I think I have signs of possible autism, I have felt quite identified with many stories and experiences of many autistic people, especially related to childhood. How can I talk about this with my psychologist without it sounding weird, or if I have autism, how can I talk to her about it?

also, hi šŸ¤—

Psychologists and most mental health workers don't find very much weird when it comes to concerns about autism, BPD etc. When you raise these concerns you're entering into their field of professional knowledge.
So, whilst some will be more empathetic or better than others, they'll not find your worries strange.

If I were you I would just say that I think I have autism, but I'm not sure. After you say that they will just want to help, so you should probably just say it.
