  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I was recently reading, and it made me wonder, what's your take on when people say committed suicide, or "completed" as family members might say. For me, I really don't give a crap how people talk of me after I'm dead, as long as it makes the point to several people who I will be writing about in my note

I do say "committed suicide" on occasion, but would rather use the words "took their own life"
Suicide was an actual crime once, and "comitted suicide" when I say it,feels wrong.
As if they're guilty of an offence.
Agreed though,I couldn't care less how people phrase my demise.

Yes I agree, it makes it feel like they committed a crime. The way people say words is always important
