I'm thinking of jumping off a bridge into a river that's around 36.8 F. The height of the bridge is ~200 ft, which I know isn't a guaranteed death on impact but I'm hoping the fall combined with cold water shock (where your body automatically takes a deep breath, your lungs fill with freezing water and you pass out) will kill me. Plus I'm planning on going at a time where it's unlikely I'll be found for at least 45 minutes, at which point hypothermia will have set in. I'm 5'4" and 116 lbs too so I'm hoping that will make the death by cold even faster. I'm afraid of being conscious for all of that though, and I don't have access to any medications that might make this less painful…I was thinking of getting very drunk right before I jump; that might help with courage and with feeling the cold less. But idk. If anyone has advice, I'm all ears.

You must be brave when you dare to jump, but the method jumping is not foolproof. There are many failures with this method and you will be severely handicapped if you survive. However, 1 600 people have committed suicide by jumping from the Golden Gate bridge in San Fransisco.

Yeah I'm most afraid of surviving with injuries 😬 Or brain damage. If I was unable to move myself or advocate for myself without help (from someone who would most likely be anti-cbt) life would be even more unbearable. But I don't really have any other options.
