• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

After having experimented with LSD, mushrooms, and DMT, I feel I have been blessed with the experience of feeling the loving embrace of the universe, of nothingness, of the Void, of universal consciousness. I feel like this is what awaits us after death.

Sometimes I deeply regret my loss of naiveness after experiencing this. Maybe if I never experienced the bliss of the Source, I wouldn't yearn for it in death. But now that I have, I spend a lot of time and energy trying to experience it in everyday living, to no avail.

I feel like the only way to grasp that feeling forever is to CTB.

What are your experiences?

I've never tried them, but I've heard a lot of similar experiences. Doesn't DMT make you see aliens? My first inclination is that there's no real overarching connection with the universe from these substances but just tweaks your brain chemistry. Without an alive brain, there is no chemistry to tweak, so there will be nothing.

My experiences with shrooms has been that I overthink and start to get in my head for the majority of the trip, maybe because I did them before I found out I was bipolar with psychosis or when it wasn't there yet. There would only be a short period where I'd feel that euphoria and like I was just in the best place possible. Then when I tried acid it was a bad tab I think and I only got a little happy for a few hours playing among us.

I want to try them again now that I'm an adult but I am afraid of what my experience could be now that I am diagnosed and on medication. I don't know they were terrible in the moment and I just wanted to sleep after a certain point but after a bit I had an appreciation for them and what could happen again. Hasn't really effected my view on anything so I want to see what else could go on with me. Not a good idea probably though lol.

Ive only microdosed with shrooms havent tripped on them so cant say on that but even just microdosing them makes me want to die even more. Ketamine made me feel like I was in another dimension and I felt I was dead I was out of my body and had no ego and felt I was apart of everyone like everyone was all one it wasnt beautiful or scary just weird. I would love to try the toad dmt one day.

Stay away from psychadelics if you have psychosis

I used to have great death-like experiences on psychedelics when I was younger. Now, they just make me feel funny and wish I hadn't taken them.

Haven't tried them either but I tend to agree with this analysis.

I thought psychedelics were good mental health? Why not psychosis?

I have found that shrooms have made me less afraid of death and have made me more accepting of it (in contexts outside of ctbing since part of the appeal of ctbing for me was having control over how I died). It also led to me developing a much healthier relationship with death and meaningless, as well.

Psychedelics, at least from what we know so far, can trigger psychotic episodes in those who are predisposed to psychosis. While psychedelics can help treat or manage some mental illnesses, this isn't the case for all mental illnesses. Also, psychedelics can have negative effects on your mental health as well, especially in cases where you have a bad trip.
