Not really, no. The only exception for this is my attempts that include self harm since it's slightly less dreadful than attempts where I do something I'm completely unfamiliar with, but methods that include cutting are pretty unreliable anyways.

I've read a couple of theories on suicide that posited that engaging in non suicidal self injury can habituate someone to fear and pain, increasing their capacity to inflict lethal injury on themselves. It sounds like that isn't always the case. I'm sorry you all are suffering and I hope we all find peace.
No, it has become a coping mechanism of sorts now, hiding the cut marks on my hands is increasingly becoming more and more annoying. I cut myself whenever I just can't handle life.

it mostly just calms me down when i'm spiraling. it might help if i could slit my wrists or something but that's not a particularly viable method so no, not really.
