Venting THIS makes me angry

When people tell me that I shouldn't want to be dead because there are a lot of people dying at hospitals who want to live. It makes me angry so bad. My life is mine. If I want to end it. I end it. No one can decide on my life but ME! It really makes me so angry... I don't want to go on with life. It's not that I want to die so much. It's that I'm so tired of life. See it that way

If I could give my life to someone who wants to live but is dying, I would happily do so. Wouldn't even think twice about it. Sadly the world doesn't work like that. People say that life is a blessing; life is a curse for many of us. Just because others cherish their life doesn't mean I love mine as well.

I feel ya here. It's basically the same argument of the starving child in 3rd world countries argument. It is more known as the fallacy of relative privation, which is dismissing another's claim by appealing to an even worse situation. Just because there are people worse doesn't invalidate nor make your pain any less. Mostly pro-lifers and anti-choicers love appealing to 'relative privation' and I hate their reasoning too.

When my best friend died, it was clear he didn't want to die. I wish I could have traded with him to give him the opportunities he wanted and to spare me the pain I've experienced.

Exactly. I've had people read my story/experiences and say they feel dumb for their reasons. I always, ALWAYS, say don't say that. Your reasons are just as valid! We're here because things are heavy. We just want to lift the weight. Heavy is heavy. ♡
