• Hey Guest,

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

A lot of pro-lifers say "suicide doesn't solve anything" but if that was the case then explain above. The guy had OCD and a suicide attempt cured his mental illness.

I just read the article. It was interesting. I have to say he was pretty lucky in that it only destroyed the part of his brain that made him OCD. He was still had his original IQ and everything else in-tact. Perhaps doctors can look at this as a way to help solve or figure out what causes OCD and perhaps cure it. Though I've read there is more money in treating an illness than curing it. :/

I still find it really sad that he had to go through surviving a shooting attempt to get his life together. I get that people are obligated to saving you, but it was obvious that he didn't wanna live.

I think this is a one in a million case. Not very statistically relevant to the benefits of attempting suicide.
