I was reading this book, an atlas on depression, where the author mentions a couple who was trapped in nazi Germany and the wife killed herself, days before they received a ticket to fly to the states...

I sometimes wonder when my tickets going to arrive and hence why I don't do it, i thought I was feeling better but shit is getting awful. I was talking to someone in the office and they said that with the covid thing, business isn't getting better until December at least.

I don't know what to do, I feel trapped, I'm sending resumes like crazy, my mistakes keep piling up. I keep going to therapy and take my meds.

I don't see a silver lining... I know none of us in this forum do. I just, FUCK.

That's a pretty good book. I like how Solomon describes his worst fear: the loss of the capacity to commit suicide.

Anyway, I would be really scared if I heard that too. We all feel trapped, sure. But being told things like that just makes it so much worse. It makes it more "real", at least to me.
