I surmise you gain more benefits from this forum than from a mental health enforcer. For starters, visiting, joining, and participating in this forum is completely free. Mental health enforcers will bleed hundreds of dollars from you dry per session. To make matters worse, a lot of them don't take insurance like Medicare or Medicaid. Second, you can visit and post as often or as little as you like. Depending on your personal circumstances, you might be obligated or even forced into getting therapy, even if you gain no mental benefits or if it exacerbates your mental health (e.g. institutionalization, court order, social pressure, parent's or guardian's control; applying for disability benefits, passing continuing disability review, ect.). Third, you can openly discuss suicide-related topics without negative consequences (though, there are a few exceptions like publicly divulging SN brands and pro-suffering trolls spoiling the picnic). Shrinks, however, will force positive platitudes, pills, and useless "solutions" down your throat; and get you locked up against your will, if you dare to express current suicide ideation or plans.
