I think I have a 100% made up my mind about dying soon. But I feel that there's so much inside me that I'd like to work through before ending my life, so I can leave with my mind as much at peace as it's possible. Or, at least, I'd like to use the therapist kind of as a listener to my personal memoir, as I feel it would be so sad and such a waste to have lived and never have had a single person to understand me and know the whole story of my battles through life, my so hard-earned discoveries about life and the world, and the whole truth about this person I've put so much effort into becoming and understanding. That's probably something I shouldn't care about, as none of it matters in the end, but it's a notion that does bother me currently, while I'm alive and dealing with my imminent demise.
I really don't believe in therapy overall and have only had countless bad experiences with therapists, but I think just having an intelligent and understanding human to share my thoughts with could be helpful in this case. The thing is that the person I speak with would have to be someone with the right mindset and who's able to understand the 'language' in which I speak. Someone who's more philosophically-inclined, but also objective and centered, if that makes sense. They'd have to believe in, or at least accept people's right to die, and be someone who understands and is not gonna question my sanity when I tell them about my plans (is that too much to ask?).
I'd very much like the sessions to be online and anonymous, so I could speak absolutely freely and there would also be no way for them to report me – though I'm in Brazil, and around here it would be unusual for a therapist to do such a thing, at least in my experience. They're also not required to by law, AFAIK.
In any case, I was looking into existential therapy and it did sound like that could be the kind where I'd be more likely to find a therapist that suits my needs. Has anyone ever tried it? Or has any other recommendations in terms of therapy modality or specific therapist? I'd prefer it to be in Portuguese (so mostly someone from Brazil, or maybe Portugal), but English could also be an option.
I know I'm looking for an HG not only therapist here, but also human. But I thought I should ask just in case anyone has a recommendation or experiences to share, which would be tremendously helpful.
