Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

The more I think about suicide with a clear mind, the more astonishing I find to read posts from SS, by people who planned their suicide and followed through with it.

It just baffles me how corageous they were. To overcome the fear of death, the S.I and everything that comes with that... To plan and cease your own existance, and fight the very root of your's body programming. To me it sounds like a dauting task.

I wonder if I myself I'll be able to reach the level of bravary when the time comes, because I know it will come, eventualy.

EDIT: I was thinking further

I know a girl who's 33 years old. She found out 2-3 years ago that she had breast cancer. She foght it but it won and spreaded. She's terminal, with A LOOT of pain and suffering, laying in bed all day waiting for the release.
I wonder if that was me, If was gonna wait for it to take me or wouldl end my life myself. If so, in wich point.

I think it is a great act of courage, if I had access to a weapon I would have died years ago, but as it will not be possible, I will move to a slower and more painful method that requires giving up the survival instinct

Here's an interesting talk on why people commit suicide...

The speaker talks about how the fearlessness it takes to be able to CTB is something that society deems praiseworthy in people like firefighters.

I just think some people are so desperate that they are driven to that point. I also think most people commit suicide on an impulse, If they have a planned date they are probably less likely to go through with it. I know what you mean though, It does require lots of courage and even if we want to die, our brains can easily pull us out of the situation. If only suicide was accepted and we could pass away in peace.

Yeah, I just don't understand when normal people call individuals who ctb "cowards".
It is not a coward act at all to take your own life!

I always thought it took courage. I backed out a few times when I was younger and I always, every time, blamed cowardliness. It is terrifying, for whatever reason. Some are afraid of the unknown, some of failing and dealing with people, some of failing and disfigurement, and the list goes on.
'Normal' people says it's cowardly, but 'normal' people are afraid to die.

Honestly, I think it comes down to desperation in the end. I'm going in 2 weeks tonight...slightly less now. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't daunting. I'm determined to go through with it...but how can one ensure they don't call for help? I'm putting signs up in the bathroom where I'll be doing it to remind myself to not call for help no matter how much it hurts. I kind of believe in fate so if I do it I was meant to and if I don't I wasn't.

That poor woman. .. that's one thing I think about. Even if I die in agony, I could die in agony anyway, You never know what life is going to do next.

true in most cases, suicide just happens due to a little trigger...just some little triggers, no one knows when they come in your life and you have such a strong urge to cbt

From a logical point of view there is no need for fear, willpower or bravery. Suicide is not a big thing, as we all die some day, we only shorten our lifespan to a greater or lesser extend. Nature wants us to die as soon as our biological mision is accomplished that is the reason why we age. And even if we miss many good years, we will not regret it because there will be nobody and nothing left that could regret anything, provided you do not believe in an after life.
Writing this, I know it is bullshit. We are biorobots who want to act against their programming. From that point of view, it is a miracle that people generally succed in commiting suicide. I guess the brains of those who are able to kill themselfes are somehow wrong wired. Having in mind the complexity of our brain, it is not a miracle that that many brains insane.
