The way the aftermath of CTB, in the real world, looks so mundane and peaceful

video's a biohazard cleanup of a vehicle a man shot himself in. towards the end, you can hear the birds chirping on the sunny day someone just brutally killed themselves on. even just a block away in that exact moment, no one else's life even paused. it's eerie.

to the bereaved, it's probably WWIII in their heads for a while. but outside of the few, or even including them after just months or years, the real world goes on, completely content with your decision.

your home stays empty and quiet, and eventually it's cleared out like you were never even there.





the previous homeowner here shot himself in what became my childhood bedroom, a year or so before we got the house. we've lived in his remains/assets for nearly 20yrs and it's never felt like anything ever happened here at all. honestly just thinking about it makes me want to stall even longer for a firearm so an urban legend can arise about 2 gunshot suicides in a row happening in this building.

I know this probably wasn't your intention, but for some reason, this comforts me enough to want to go through with my CTB. It just puts things in perspective. Life is hell, but once it's over, it's over. Sunny days will come regardless of our presence in it, and the birds will continue to chirp

it was comforting to me as well. it feels like the end of the world to me because MY world's ending. it's nice to remember nothing on the outside is going to be harmed or destroyed because of me. i was feeling extreme guilt earlier, to the point i thought i was gonna give myself a panic attack or a migraine

After doing some research, this kind of content isn't that channel's usual. They're more known for accessorizing(?) vehicles or just regular vehicle content in general. This video is an exception to their usual formula, and it's one of their highest performing ones. So, it's likely because this channel has only does it once (and the gore is relatively "tame") that it's not taken down yet
