The sn failed

I was unable to ctb with sn after all. My mistake was not having prepared the sn mixture ahead of time.

I took the H2 antagonist and anti-emetic, and about 20 minutes later got up to weigh the sn to mix in water. Big mistake.

I was too dizzy. I couldn't even open the sn bottle despite trying and had difficulty standing or even sitting in one spot. Turns out dizziness is a side effect of Tagamet, and I took 800mg of Tagamet... after 24 hours of fasting, which likely contributed.

In the end I had to leave the hotel room before it got suspicious, and my SN was confiscated by a family member I had to reach out to for support to get home safely (driving wasn't safe while like that).

My advice : make the sn mixture, then take the H2 antagonist and anti-emetic.

I will be looking for other viable methods now, looking mainly at Nembutal or shallow water blackout. I may also consider ordering sn again as it is ridiculously easy to get ahold of.

Yeah, I would hold off for right now if I were you. If they know about the SN then they might seek medical help for you. You're probably going to be under pretty close surveillance from family for a while. Maybe even police as well as they might check up on you as well.

Simple. If your family is really worried about you, they just have to say that they want welfare checks done on you if you don't respond to your phone for so long.

I'm so sorry you failed. I wasn't planning on even going through the trouble of measuring it. I'm just going to fill up a ml medicine cup. I don't think it has to be exactly 15 grams. That's why ctb is so difficult for me because it requires all this work, planning, preparation, and commitment. I'm too depressed and lazy to even move most of the time, let alone plan or commit to anything lol. Anyway, as everyone else has said hope you manage to succeed eventually if that's what you choose.

I found no information on whether fasting was necessary, just read a user on here say they thought it was needed and did not want to take risks. I did not want to risk anything I eat affecting my ability to ctb.

Nope. I just told them I'm not trying to kill myself and don't desire to and gave them a bunch of believable stories about how much I love life and have this and that to look forward to.

Mental health professionals look for these things in accessing suicide risk:
1. Whether you have the ability to plan into the future (because if you're dead you won't be thinking past that)

2. Whether you have things to live for (social connections etc. support)

3. Whether you have a plan, made an attempt or have access to the proper materials. I just told them I wasn't serious that's why I didn't take the SN, I didn't tell them I was too dizzy to properly dose it and did not want to risk failure.


Anyway, just lying is really easy when you know what they are looking for, especially if you couple it with some believable "I was depressed and down but I didn't really want to die" stuff. I took a long while to read about how mental health professionals look for these signs before attempting so I'd know what to say to avoid a psych ward. Of course, some people are good and can tell you're lying or commit you anyway but it's always worth a shot.

The problem is if you go too high you risk pain and seizures and if you go too low you might not succeed. I want to be as close as possible to 15g to be in the sweet zone.

@scales Could you please tell me where you read the info about the pain and seizures? I thought there is a certain amount of pain no matter what the dosage? I thought it was always better to take a bit more SN, never mind the seizures, the most important thing is that it works!

Honestly I get my info from this site about SN, I haven't looked outside of it much. I read the mega thread and ppeh, and Voldemort's SN step by step. I assume the seizures are more likely at higher doses, but I could be wrong.

It seems like there isn't enough evidence out there to suggest a "perfect" dose per kg of body weight. Until more case studies/real studies are documented, we can only really speculate in an educated way, right? I feel more comfortable with erring on the side of too much... I weigh around 50 kg / 110 lbs (5 ft 6), maybe less, and I have 18 mg measured out. I wish I could document my experience more thoroughly and scientifically without having it disrupted or exploited...

SCALE it is very important, did you get dizzy because of the H2 blocker or because of the anti-emetics??

I'm fairly sure it was the H2 blocker Tagamet which lists dizziness as a side effect.

The dizziness was not completely unbearable. If I had made the mixture ahead of time, I would have been able to take the SN.
