• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Is that it leads to disconnection. Our brains and nervous systems get changed. Especially if it's complex trauma.

The disconnection leads people to be unable to assume positions of leadership and other people who are unhealthy, less fit or downright malignant in their intentions take over.

People who are neurotypical, pro-social (at least in their appearance) and shame based would describe this as "the state of the hierarchy in a society" (sociopaths, psychopaths, narcissists, dark triads beating them when it comes to occupying leadership positions). It's also a way to avoid actualizing and assuming embodiment as a committed leader.

Technology advancements, automation do indeed create job opportunities but also leave others behind. We live increasingly in a world where it's not inappropriate anymore to discard people (less of a sense of community) - which is a hallmark of narcissistic abuse.

Because of this, you get people who do not know when to step back and realize the opposition is needed. For example, a party (or coalition) who's good at getting businesses established and have income does not realize that without investing in society to uplift and reskill/upskill the vulnerable will weaken even if, on paper, it seems stronger (the rich get richer so from the leadership point of view, everything is fine). An example of this is the isolation these people who accumulate a lot of wealth go with in order to stay safe. Fearing being in the public. It's a self reinforcing system. And, of course, it's pinnacle is what we see: a blur between the very rich and the elected when it comes to who is exercising power.

What's interesting is, if the West abandoned Eastern Europe (when it gave it to Stalin) and had a psychosis with regards to socialism, still not understanding what happened and what were the effects of communism (other that it wasn't a viable model from an economic perspective - as it's perceived), it also doesn't realize that the end result might be the same with that of communism. Traumatization of the individual beyond recovery (it only takes a couple of generations to live under such a regime for it to come true).

The only solution is to legislate in the prevention of C-PTSD. This would mean making safe housing available to those in need (especially if on disability) with support systems in place (financial assistance, trauma therapy, community integration, personal and professional development etc.).

70 to 80% of people have an insecure type of attachment. Which means they're unhealthy (they've developed maladaptive coping strategies to survive situations which they shouldn't have went through and that overwhelmed their system). This is a lot of dysfunction in the world. It's also possible to heal by having what I've iterated above.

But it's also true that for some of us, that will never happen and it's ok to be with that thought and to make peace with it.
