Discussion The obvious reason why suicide will always be persecuted

I find it funny that some of you actually have hopes of making suicide legal and socially accepted.
They can't tax you if you are dead. They can't buy your time, fuck your body, get your money, extract your energy...if you are dead. You have something to offer and they'll try to get it from you.
They know they can't fix you, they can't give you a good family, childhood...
All they can offer is guilt, some soft drugs that won't even make you feel good, just numb, and a good amount of ridiculous goals and expectations.

I believe that too. Also religions like Christianity have nothing negative said about suicide in Bible.
Samson was heroic, soldiers about to be captured and most likely tortured killed them selves (weapon carrier was asked to kill the higher soldier and then he killed himself), Judas killed himself as a sign of remorse and because he could not live with himself after his betrayal of Jesus (even Jesus told him and others that it is written that one of them will betray him and that is God's master plan).
I see them as an act of courage and complete trust in God. All of them believed God and wanted to please him.
In old testament it is said life for a life. Judas's actions led the capture and murder of Jesus. So he also went by the law by taking his life.

Garbage place Gehenna where trash is burned all the time has fire all the time. That was turned to Hades (from ancient mythology) and eventually hell. In the edge of the city there was garbage burning place "Gehenna" where was always or often fire because there was so much trash that was burned there. Jesus said as a methafore that bad souls with no remorse are destroyed in Gehenna that has fire all the time (bad people with no remorse= trash). That was overwritten bad souls stay for ever burning in fire in hell.

People have twisted religion to their own needs always. But even now that Christians can read the Bible from the original scriptures many believe what some Catholic priests and money hungry preachers say rather than read it themselves.
When presidents and people who make laws are Christians their religion affects all people.

Though terminally sick and old may be allowed to die peacefully in more countries in future since they are useless and only cost to others.

But there are still many ways to ctb pain free. In next few years some of them are gone in some or most countries.
