If you're gonna sit around wishing things, why not wish for fulfillment in life?
Not that it'd likely help but coincidences (determinism unknown?) might occur & you'd possibly believe your wish influenced that.

On the other hand there's always epi-genetics, placebo, & the unknown line between perception & reality.
Consciousness, that is.

An example would be the double slit experiment, which you've might have heard of.

I've heard of that double slit experiment but not really sure what you're getting at.

@peacefullpainless "Yeah me too. However because life is so difficult i have to work extremely hard for a long time to figure out a method that will work for me and be really reliable so that i will die for sure. It would have been better to not have been born at all then i wouldn't have had to deal with the mess of ctb or any of the other problems like trying to find a job in the coming economic collapse this Lockdown is causing etc. I either have to get a job or commit suicide . And how am i going to get a job when 30 million people have just lost their job because of this lockdown in the USA? so suicide is my only option. Why was i born ? Nobody even taught me the rules of life or how to be successful so that i have even more problems than the average person."

I agree.

I've kinda just come to terms with the fact that I'll probably suffer on my way out.

Also I understand your advice to wish for fulfilment in life, but it's the chaotic nature of all modern life which freaks me out.

Why not return to nature then? There are ways, hard & complicated, but there are ways.

Do you mean that if observation effects a photon's 'choice' , that maybe we can effect our own reality by wishing for it to be better? I'm simply curious if this is what you mean to say and/or believe?

I'm on the same boat, my friend.
I wish life had an "off" button.
Or that assisted suicide was more of a thing in the world.
Well, i can always hope for SN to still be a thing when i have the conditions to actually get it.

No, well, perhaps that's possible like "the law of attraction" but it's not what I meant, nor necessarily believe.
It was simply an example of the unknown, & unexplored nature of consciousness itself.
Poorly formulated, I hasted.

That would be such a beautiful way to go. You fall asleep and then you're gone. No pain, no risk of failure, just peace.

Assisted suicide would be amazing! But even if it was a thing all around the world, I think the rules would be so restrictive that we couldn't ctb even if we really wanted :[

True.
My hopes, if the world was ideal, would be for it to be legal and accessible, but before you ctb, you'd have to go through therapy, meds and stuff, and by the end of this period, you'd be given the choice to continue your treatment of therapy and meds, or ctb.
That way, either you get better and continue life, or you don't and then you ctb peacefully.
Just my idea tho, in practice it would probably be garbage.

I agree.

I think that's how it works in Switzeland: you ask for euthanasia, you have a session with a psychologist and doctors who ask you to rethink it and desist, but the decision is ultimately yours. It's damn expensive, though.

Hanging is my only choice but I can't due to lockdown. I'm never alone. So I have to stay.

I have a couple of hours alone sometimes but that's not that reliable... I am wondering is there something high enough to jump off but it doesn't seem a good method either.
