Idk brother but like I havent taken care of myself in many many many months. I dress like a hobo, rarely shower, never wear makeup. & yet no matter where I go there's always at least one dude trying to get with me. & if they try talking to me and find out my brain is broken they say oh no ur so beautiful, ur too beautiful to wanna die. I don't even care abt my looks at all they affect nothing & idk it's just annoying idk and I guess that I could have a new bf everyday if I wanted but it doesn't fix SHIT. I wish being "beautiful" solved anything at all!!!

Like the guy who picked me up off the side of the road asked for my # & is proceeding to flirt with me meanwhile I smell like sweat & piss …
I even had one guy tell me he thought it was kind of hot that I looked kinda dirty & homeless… like there has to be a diagnosis for that

I came to that conclusion working alongside a very beautiful co worker. She was continually drawing attention- both men and women would make highly personal and intrusive remarks. It made me weirdly grateful I was ugly! I'd hate all that attention. I suppose others have pointed out though, that you can draw attention and bullying for being ugly too. That's not fun either.

But yeah, it's got to feel undermining to be more or less told you don't have problems if you're beautiful.

The world is more fucked up than you think, people have started using words like Goth or emo girls, and it has kind of started to be a fetish of some sort.Some do it for aesthetics for views and likes but the real ones(like you) are genuinely suffering and these people can't understand, cause it has become a joke.

Yeah, this has nothing to do with you being "beautiful". I've heard similar stories from women who are average-looking and even from some women who are slightly under average looking, talking about guys harassing them for their number.

Thr homeless subreddit is actually scary. Sadists and predators message girls who are looking for help and reportedly are up to no good. Lots of praying on those who are vulnerable. Some guys are really into it.

Then they get tied up etc. there are some absolute horror stories on there.

I guess I'm decently conventionally attractive. Doesn't really make a difference to the quality of my life though. I suffer from anhedonia. So no one can make me happy. So I don't even bother involving anyone else with my life irl.

I think a few people in this thread are just asking to be careful. I think you're going through a difficult time in your life right now and might be a bit vulnerable. There are lots of potential bad actors out there who might want to take advantage of that. These aren't your conventional people that are just trying to date but ones that are a lot more nefarious.
