Nothing else distracts me. Singleplayer games used to be my best choice, but now i dont feel motivated to even leave the tutorial. They all seem generic and soulless, I can only play fast paced games like Fortnite, but competitive games like these makes me more angry than fun, because I'm bad at them and I hate losing to strangers.
Not even drinking relaxes me anymore, I just feel nausea, headache and depression gets worse everytime i drink.
Lately I've been feeling horrible anxiety, because nothing distracts me from my mind, being stuck with my own thoughts is pure torture, feels like im rotting from the inside out

I feel the same i stopped playing online games years ago because everytime i was angry i would destroy something and i would regret installing this in the first place. Life is so much unchangeable that we could probably travel back in time a few years and we wouldn't notice because life would look the same

I can relate to the boredom. I should say that, regarding videogames, their quality has gone down in the last 10-20 years. I work in the industry and its pretty much all crap...and what is not crap, is just another repetition of the same franchise that has been around for years. So it's not just you in that case, videogames used to be much better.

Your posts sounds a lot like anhedonia. I also spend my time trying to think of things to do and always falling back to playing the same competitive game.
I've been trying to do things more outside of the house like going for a swim, bowling or just walking. It improves the mood a little bit but I feel like I'm cosplaying a happy person.

I wish I could free you of that burden...

true, I remember in the past even bad games were still fun. There were so many good franchises being released each year, that even though I've played dozens on my ps2, im still amazed me how much I missed. Nowadays we still have pieces of art being released like bg3, but its clear to me that producers have become too greedy and this has cost the soul of many games and franchises.

I've been looking for some mmorpgs, because it's the only genre of online games that I've had a lot of fun with over the past decade. Right now, I'm hoping Throne and Liberty will be good enough.

Ah yes, one of my worst nightmares that seems to be coming true. Hard to imagine anything worse than having to deal with this hell every day and not having any form of escapism.

Extreme Pain is much worse than people know

Boredom is only 1 horrible thing out of 1000's in this terrible life and world .

Boggles my mind that most people believe in and want afterlives and reincarnation.

The only good thing about DNA based life is that it ends at most 90 years of suffering for the majority of humans.

90 years is too long . I guess the human ape brain is to weak to comprehend how big a number is a trillion years, then a trillion to the billont th power years . Imagine being bored for a trillion to the billionth power years

I'm glad I know at least this horror will end that after Death I will never exist again.non-existence is the only relief

Hey I have a pretty similar mentality towards video games as you. It's been a extreme struggle to overcome but I've found ways. Immersing myself in a type of retro atmosphere has helped out greatly. Everything from listening to certain types of music to having 10,000 arcade and retro games. If you ever wanna try to game with me sometime or offer advice on how to spark you up my DM's are always open. Take care buddy.
