Nothing compares to the bliss of death.

I did some research on The World Health Organization website and it said the leading cause of death in the World is Heart Disease. The MedicalNewsToday website says it's also number one in the United States. It has this to say about prevention : "Lowering blood pressure and cholesterol can significantly lower heart disease risk. Several lifestyle and dietary modifications can DRAMATICALLY reduce the risk of heart disease." The number 1 cause of death in the World is apparently a reasonably preventable disease. (not completely, but reasonably)A very similar thing was said about cancer. "A substantial proportion of cancers are preventable., and All cancers caused by cigarette smoking and heavy use of alcohol could be prevented. " COPD and Stroke, also contain significant preventable risk factors . See the pattern here? Each of the top causes have completely preventable major risk factors. The top 3 contain specific warnings about either smoking or excessive alcohol consumption. The above 4 causes account for over 50 Percent of all deaths in the US , And at least 35 percent of all deaths in the World, annually. This information is strong evidence that a significant percentage of the human population dies as a direct result of their own choices. In other words, they are killing themselves, and it's not by accident for many people. Most of these people KNOW that their poor health choices are dangerous and could very well potentially kill them. This is a form of suicide. The only difference is that these people don't want to die, but their poor health choices make it inevitable. Why is one form of suicide completely acceptable while other forms of suicide are not acceptable? Pro-Sufferer says "I'm allowed to kill myself and self harm via cigarettes, but you are not allowed to use a noose, etc, because that's "just" wrong." Give me a break! blatant hypocrisy. Prohibit cigarettes, alcohol, McDonald's while we're at it. We got Millions of lives to save here!

If "Pro -Lifers" really cared about life, wouldn't they protest all of those things? It seems their agenda is not saving lives but something else.

Simple maths (uk)

The government takes in a total of about £9.5 billion in tobacco duties, and the Tobacco Manufacturers' Association has told us another £2.5 billion goes to the Treasury in VAT. So the Treasury is taking in about £12 billion directly from tobacco sales.

Smoking costs society around £30.1 million every year. This corresponds to around £1,900 per smoker per year. The total annual cost to the NHS across Hastings is about £4.5 million. The cost of current and ex-smokers who require care in later life as a result of smoking-related illnesses is £3.8 million per year.

The governments do NOT want you to stop smoking and drinking etc , they only pretend to care
There is no profit in suicide

Its not capitalism because many socialist countries obvously try to prevent suicides too.
