SN arrived and I need to test the purity.
I didn't get any certificate from the vendor and I can't ask for this, the vendlr is also not one mentioned here and I have little trust. Also, I don't trust the blood test enough same with the Aquarium test kit which is not showing the purity in percentage.

I suspect that many people who failed to CTB with SN failed due to not having the right purity from the beginning to start with or in time due to storing conditions.

The blood test and Aquarium test will not tell you if it's 93% or 99% which is critical when using this method imo.

Any thoughts? thanks!

It feels bad to get no responses, so I can try to chime in. Pretty sure no one knows of any ways to test it more accurately than the tests you mention (at least not an accessible way).

I thought I would figure something out with aquarium test, but now that you got me thinking, I realized that the only way to get any precision with it might be to use a large amount of water and SN, which I probably won't do.

Whether it matters or not - I am not sure. I am not aware of any good data on lethal amounts (only that some sources give an LDLO of 71mg/kg and a range of 0.7g to 6g, e.g., pubchem), but I think it's not too out there to speculate that 10g or maybe 15g could already be a lethal dose for >95% of people (not too overweight). If that's the case (and given the wide distribution), I don't think the purity is that important, and not throwing up (too much) or being found are probably more important. Or at least there's not much you can do about the purity, besides just visually looking at it or getting it from a more trustworthy vendor.
