Well, title. Lately some synthwave tracks are stuck in my head. So I'm curious, has anyone heard this kind of stuff? Let's see if whe can make a compilation of good shit in this thread

(it's aham, let me see the title, a playlist of the album "198XAD", IDK how to post correctly a YT playlist in the forum. I love Brave, aka, no ads XD)

This makes my little 80s heart happy.

I do not have particular songs that I know but I stream Nightride.fm all the time at work. They have several channels to fit your mood.

brooo this has been a favorite genre for me for years and years now!

I got into it originally by Hotline Miami 1 and 2, both of which are highly worth checking out (and both go on 90% sales on steam) ((or if you prefer, the developers outright endorsed pirating them)). Plus a bunch of the same artists carry over to this indie game called Furi, and a lot of those tracks were fire.

So I guess I'll sort them by game:

Plus, I feel compelled to also mention the other half of what's still called "synthwave", since they're some of my longest-standing favorite artists of all time. Namely my favorite artist ever is HOME, particularly their album Odyssey, and even more particularly their most famous track Resonance. There's a bunch of niche tracks of his I really adore, but he's really bad at organizing his posts. Other quick shoutouts include:
though that would start bordering on vaporwave at a some point.

Mb for the long post, this has been a genre I've been sitting on for a long time
