(Question is for SN) I learnt some antipsychotics can work, & I am prescribed them. I'm prescribed aripiprazole, that's not an antipsychotic that'll work. I used to be prescribed risperidone, that's on the list, but I really don't want to take that one ever again*. This works for me, because aripiprazole makes me sick, vomit, & weak, so I haven't taken it in some months. It wouldn't be a lie that It should be switched, & I think they'll understand why I refuse risperidone. But since not all antipsychotics work, I don't know how to tell them to prescribe me one that does work. I don't think saying, "Prescribe me _. No, it can't be any other antipsychotic. It has to be _. Don't ask me to explain. Just prescribe it to me now." is going to work. I'm a bad liar & usually my mother speaks for me. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can talk to them?

* I don't have a plan to CTB soon, I just want to get things I need for emergency that might happen. So that's why this matters, it wouldn't just be taking it only then, might be taking it for a while.
