Sadly, I bet they only made into the DailyMail b/c its SOOO sensational to call them "strangers who made a suicide PACT" and used an AirBnB on top of it!!?? SUCH SCANDAL. More like two lonely people whose life failed them, felt had no other option but to end it and didn't want to be alone.

This could explain how Bumblebee her account was logged in a few days after the attempt it might have been the case that the police had a read through the topic, however I really hope that they both found peace and am grateful that they didn't die alone but together
I feel sorry for them and their family having had this article written about them to be honest. Feels intrusive to me.

There no proof they met on this site.
Plus the SN thread from them they said the take it on Monday.
The police found the body on Friday evening at 1:30PM (in Scotland time).
A dead boy that laid there 5 days surely will decompose in normal room temperature and smell.
Plus the news didn't even say what method of suicide they used.
I doubt it them.
Let wait for what the news coming out in the next couple days say.
And there no proof the police log in to her account or whatever, it might just be her not take the SN and log in herself.
I wouldn't jump into any conclusion that it "them" their pack unless there more news come out of what method they use and more.

if that's the case then this site made more enemies, it says that police are continuing with their investigation so we'll probably be seeing something similar to the case of shawn shatto.

yea, i'm glad that they didn't die alone, but everyone in general should be more careful with this kind of stuff, at some point they will close this site and many people will have no place to find others and share their experiences.
this site has helped me so much, it would break my heart that many people will find themselves alone in their last moments.

Yes . This website has helped me a lot also. I have learned about methods and it's the only place i can discuss suicide.

yeah, it is most definitely them.
the problem is that this site will face more hardships and if it closes, many people will have nowhere to go when depressed or to educate themselves about methods and a peaceful exit. this site is a lifeline for me at least.

Yeah it's probably gonna be even harder for this site to keep going if as example the family members will find out about this website, they probably did now.

They took the SN on Tuesday evening and the pair were found Thursday afternoon. The ages match and their post describes staying in a holiday rental.
Very unlikely that it's some other couple, strangers who met online and formed suicide pact.

1- The ages match.
2- The location generally matches. He said he had plenty of money so its possible a nice air bnb could have persuaded her to do it in UK after saying she didn't want to. They might have spent up to 4 weeks getting to know each other and having fun, etc.
3- The method is not mentioned. More reason to think it might be them.

5- Police investigating, which would explain the "last seen" info on bumblebee's account frequently being updated since then.

So much this. I really wish there was no evidence left of this site after the fact.
I found this site while searching what gun to use to ctb. I changed my mind because of this site and felt so welcome and much less isolated, and I know several others share similar stories. Taking it down won't lower the stats.

It says the fire services assisted. I'm not sure if this is the case for Scotland, but I know in several places the police, EMS, and fire station will arrive even if the situation doesn't require all three. The firefighters may have more training in handling chemicals like SN, so that might be why they were involved.
