• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

It's called Dead in a Week (Or Your Money Back). It's pretty lame and unrealistic for the most part (and possibly triggering/offensive) but I quite related to the protagonist. There were certainly amusing parts and the famous Beachy Head even appears at one point. The premise is outsourcing one's suicide to a hitman, who is here hired to kill our man at his discretion with a rifle shot to the head.

Easy viewing anyway, if you're at a place where you can laugh about the topic.

Wait what?! They made a show about committing suicide and I'm not aware of that?! I guess I'm really behind. I don't watch Netflix though but...

I give it a watch...since the topic is interesting to me. kind of weird tho (as others pointed out) that suicide is starting to become more mainstream these days...(13 reasons why etc.)

Yeah I dunno I guess I'm at such an absurdist point I figured why not watch a rom-com (of all things) on the subject?
Well, it's that i wonder how many pro-lifers are watching stuff like that, but then come growling at SS.
