I recently discovered this song called Suicide Is Painless - Sung by Johnny mandal and written by Michael Altman. I really like this song and wanted to share it with all of you since it is suicide related. I can't describe it but the lyrics really speak to me.

Fun fact, Michael Altman was 14 when he wrote this song. I can only imagine the crazy shit he must of been going through to think of lyrics like these at the age of 14.

I'm sure many of you would have already heard this song or at least its instrumental as it was the theme song of M*A*S*H the movie and tv series. I have never seen either which is why I only recently discovered this song.

As a couple others have replied, it reminds me of MASH also. Didn't have to play it, I can hear it in my head from decades ago pretty grim lyrics.
