  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

so first I wanted to say again I'm so glad this site is still up and running I wouldn't have any idea where to even talk about suicide without the bs "your life is worth living nonsense" because despite the subtle hints of trying to talk to someone about this no one cares (naturally, I can't blame them) just want to get something off my chest

Anyway I don't have the desire to waste my life working for a corporate master 40+hours just to barely pay rent. I'm a part time wage slave that's the most I can tolerate. I live a comfy life and dad pays most of the bills. I only have my sister and mom who wouldn't be as leninant as him. At 25 with nothing really going for me dad has pretty accepted I'm a loser and does what he can. I've attempted suicide many years ago (not a sob story just giving context) and not a day goes by I don't think that me "hoping it gets better" was just a delaying tactic.

How tf normies pay all these high prices just to live is beyond me. I don't see the point. I've asked my parents about this without getting to specific and they say well when you have kids you do whatever it takes. Sounds about right well I don't have the little demons and I don't want them.

I only stayed here out of spite and to not cause my own parents and sister at best extreme depression. I guess I did that right.

I feel most people are alive simply because of their survival instincts rather than any actual reasons they could give. The "hope it gets better" part you mentioned is something they seem to hook onto to as well. Sometimes to even delusional degrees like how if you poll most people they think wealth is right around the corner and that they will be or could be rich someday. People rather hold onto wild fantasies than admit how bad life really is. The saddest part is you, I, or them don't even have it the worse there are people out there that go through so much worse and yet it's already such shit for us.

Suicide has always been inevitable for me. I find life to be pointless honestly. It can be hard when everything seems hopeless, I know what that is like. Many people do rely on the 'hope that things get better', as they do not want to accept the fact that a situation is hopeless and they are in denial. For me having hope would be delusional and I would rather just see things for what they are.

It's so frustrating If people would just admit how terrible life really is and there would be collective desire to fix things this world could be such a better place, it won't be perfect since the human existence itself still sucks but at least it would be more barrable, but apparently everything is exactly how it's supposed to be and there is no need to change anything.
