Suicide by starvation?

Will it be easy? Nothing much gives me pleasure in life anyway. I wouldn't need to buy anything to kill myself. Sadly, it will be a long process, and with the way I would be losing weight, the people around me would surely step in and halt my suicide plans.

But one can wonder.

This seems to come up periodically. It sounds like something that's virtually impossible and depends if you mean withholding food or food AND water. One takes AGES and is probably completely impossible with willpower alone. The other takes less time, obviously, but is very uncomfortable and painful and probably also impossible without palliative care

It seems like this is asked about on here everyday but the answer is always the same. This method sounds unbearable, torturous and is pretty much impossible to succeed with.
