Suicide by Pufferfish?

Almost all pufferfish contain tetrodotoxin, a substance that makes them foul tasting and often lethal to fish. To humans, tetrodotoxin is deadly, up to 1,200 times more poisonous than cyanide. There is enough toxin in one pufferfish to kill 30 adult humans, and there is no known antidote.

Very curious on how plausible is suicide by consuming puffer fish? People supposedly die every year consuming this "delicacy." Aren't they available to purchase at most pet store?

Yes, I've heard about pufferfish poison being deadly but you've also gotta check if you're okay with the symptoms before you CTB. But that's honestly an awesome idea good job.

It can paralyze you btw, which is not ideal

Why is that? Symptoms seem to be nausea, vomiting, respiratory failure, paralysis, and death -- not completely painless but doesn't seem too bad.
It's probably fool proof 100% success considering that its 1000x more powerful than cyanide and no antidote available. More accessible than obtaining other poison/substances too...

They can apparently selectively breed them without the toxins, too. How could you tell what you're getting?
