  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I don't know. I'm genuinely considering getting in my car and crashing into a tree or something of that nature. Not another vehicle or anything. What is the likelihood of death? I figure I'd have my seatbelt off and fly out the windshield or some shit. Maybe the air bag will break my neck. I could do it right now.
But it'd be a huge expense if I failed. Money is always a bummer.

I really would not risk a car crash CTB as there's always a good chance (I don't know the exact %) you could end up crippled or even worse, a vegetable. I don't think the airbag is guaranteed. Maybe the seatbelt off and flying out of the windshield would work but there's always a chance you live from that, especially when people will call for help immediately if you're on a main road.

I guess you're right. Somehow, it's a comfort to me to just have something as an option in the back of my mind. Like having a gun lying around. There's always a way out.

Hahaha yeah, wish I had something like that. I need a comfort last ditch CTB option. There's a train near where I live but it crosses a main road and goes pretty slow...

Trains can be pretty gruesome from what I understand, but I guess it's hard to go wrong with that kind of thing.

True. But it's the only escape I have (mostly) readily available to me. I just need to figure out the train's schedule to plan CTB accordingly with the right time. But there's also the issue of traumatizing the train operators which I really don't want to do... I'll have to source another method when the time comes... :/

That's what's prevented me from doing it too, honestly. It's hard to find the schedules as well, especially for freight trains, probably for that reason and hoppers. Wishing you the best in whatever you choose.

Here is some inspiration for you if it don't go as planned. This girl had a terrible car accident and flew through the windshield of her car. She survived and woke up without any legs 😬 So if you must go this way, please watch this clip 1st😢
