one symptom of sodium nitrite is shortness of breath (NOT suffocation. It is written exactly "shortness of breath")

But I have read how a person breathes when he has shortness of breath. (NOT suffocation)

How does a person breathe with shortness of breath?
Labored and long exhalation, at
least twice as long as the inhalation.
Tension of auxiliary muscles
during exhalation. The protrusion of the cervical veins on
exhalation, their subsidence and retraction
of the intercostal spaces on inhalation
indicate strong fluctuations
in intra-thoracic pressure during breathing.
Dry wheezing when breathing.
(The reason for dry wheezing, which is sometimes written about on the forum)

What does a person feel with shortness of breath?

The symptoms of shortness of breath can
be very different, but
they always differ
in the change and violation
of respiratory activity.
A person can breathe very often and
superficially, and can take rare and
very deep breaths. In both situations
, he experiences an acute lack of air,
a feeling of suffocation and
chest compression

How do you know if you have shortness of breath?
With shortness of breath, faster breathing
is accompanied by a feeling of lack
of air. People feel
like they can't breathe
fast enough or deep enough. Other
symptoms, such as cough or
chest pain, may be present
depending on the cause of shortness of breath

It turns out that he is not peaceful at all??

I don't understand anymore... either a more or less peaceful death from sodium nitrite is pure luck, or.... Or I don't know anymore.
The symptoms of shortness of breath are terrible. I entered the symptoms of shortness of breath in the search query, not suffocation

Please tell me that I am very stupid and just don't know how to search for information properly..

I'm not sure I totally understand your question, so let me know if I answer unhelpfully.

SN changes the part of your blood that brings oxygen to the different parts of your body, making it so that it can't carry oxygen anymore. This is what causes the "shortness of breath" symptom you're referring to – your body is trying very hard to breathe, but you can't bring in enough oxygen because your blood just can't use that oxygen effectively anymore.

I wish people would stop referring to SN as a "peaceful" death – it is not. What it is is relatively painless (compared to other popular methods – but SN still isn't necessarily pain-free), mostly effective if done correctly and somewhat quick. It is likely to be very uncomfortable, depending on your personal distress tolerance and other medications you've taken. Some of the reasons it is promoted here and in the PPH is that it is not as barbaric as other methods and it can be highly lethal – again, if done right.

Hope this helps.

i think that it's talked about a lot because it is more peaceful than other methods, and leaves your body relatively less disfigured than say, jumping, hanging, gunshot, cutting, etc. at least that's what i think

Thank you for answering me.
I think..... Maybe at some point the oxygen level in the blood drops so low that a person loses consciousness and does not feel the terrible symptoms of shortness of breath.
Yes, a person may have difficulty breathing before losing consciousness, but still breathe.... And then the brain puts a person into an unconscious state, since the body does not have the strength to maintain its life support....thus, there is a possibility that we will lose consciousness before we experience hellish shortness of breath, turning into suffocation..
Just thoughts

You will be unconscious to feel anything but little discomfort will be there before becoming unconscious like headache, nausea and vomiting

No one said sn is the best method because it is not, different people experience different things when using sn, there are people who died peacefully and some with little discomfort but if done correctly people death for sure

Most peaceful method like N which is impossible to get (even in dark web very hard) and considered golden standard for ctb and next best method is nitrogen exit bag which is technical and need a lot of planning to do it correctly, hard to hide it from family members which make people to avoid it

Third comes the sn method which is given 7/10 for peacefulness in ppeh book so obviously it is not the best but easy to hide, attainable and easy to execute just drink it then go to bed

I had read a lot of people sn experience who failed their attempt, mostly they said they don't remember anything , unconscious, headache, shortness of breath is mentioned only by few and they said it was not a big deal

Drugs can be peaceful but unpredictable!

When it comes to ctb, until you try you don't know what's gonna happen because we can't question the dead people so we never know!

Siuffocation prvents any oxygen getting into your body. Sodium nitrite works by preventing your bloodstream from carrying oxygen (or carrying as much oxygn as usual) to the rest of your body. The difference is the speed. While you are bing suffoated, your organs still have oxygen for a few minutes so you know what is happening. Sodium nitrate acts slowly, so your organs shut down slowly and you gradually lose consciousness. Because yout brain is also shutting down slowly, you won't be aware of much, and it should be painless. More like going to sleep.

Some SN cases are painful and cause problems with breathing, some cases are discomforting, some cases are peaceful. Everybody reacts different.

Here you can find description of painful cases including problems with breathing and here peaceful and discomforting cases and symptoms.
